Wray Impeachment Talk, Worthless Republicans, and a Broken Justice System
A two-tier justice system continues to wreak havoc on our Republican system of government. Republican Congress continues to blow smoke.
The Republican controlled house continues to act like they are being tough on government corruption, while Biden and his demonic regime just keep steamrolling them. McCarthy is peeing on the American people, while trying to convince us that it is raining. The problem here is that congress has no power or authority to deal with the lawlessness we are seeing. These threats that we are currently hearing from Republican leadership threatening to hold Christopher Ray in contempt of congress are 100% political theatre. Eric Holder, Attorney General under Barack Obama, and head of the IRS Lois Lerner under the same regime were both held in contempt of congress. It was nothing more than a worthless declaration. To put any teeth in a subpoena it must come from a court of law. Congress does not have that kind of authority, at least not from an enforcement perspective. The best they can do to enforce a congressional subpoena, is issue a criminal referral to the DOJ for consideration. McCarthy and the rest of the worthless congressional Republicans know this. They do this as they continue the long corrupt tradition of encouraging Kabuki theatrics to suppress the fact that they don’t care about us, or America.
But our two-tier justice system only allows selective enforcement of these subpoenas. A great example is the indictment and prosecution of Steve Bannon after his refusal to respond to a congressional subpoena. He received the same charge that Holder and Lerner received, but the charge was viewed as much more severe because Bannon has ties to Trump. Holder and Lerner did not even get a slap on the wrist.
Our separation of powers concept that is outlined in our founding document should establish the executive branch as a co-equal branch of government, while strictly prohibiting any government authority that is not prescribed specifically to the executive in Article II of the US Constitution. Unfortunately, the electoral significance of the executive branch is much more consequential than it was ever intended by the founding fathers. Because the president names the heads of the various government agencies, and the bureaucratic authority that has been given to these agencies, the presidency has the keys to the kingdom when it comes to total control. One of the best indications of this, is the Department of Justice (DOJ).
As we saw under Obama with Holder and Lynch, and as we are now seeing with under Biden with Garland, these positions of authority can be used by a corrupt executive to blatantly violate the law at will. By naming an Attorney General that will refuse to prosecute wrongdoing and attack political opposition with fraudulent investigations (i.e., Russiagate, FISA, etc.) when a threat to power is perceived, you give Uncle Sam a license to break the law. The FBI and their propensity for corruption over decades all the way back to JFK is under the DOJ umbrella. The DOJ and the FBI are not independent agencies, they are an extension of the executive branch, with the purpose of assisting the executive in his constitutional duty to assure that the law is faithfully executed. These agencies operate at the discretion of the President.
The bottom line here is that we were duped by these corrupt Republicans in leadership. Someone that has been part of the swamp for years, is not capable of representing the American people, he can only represent himself and his fellow swamp creatures. McCarthy must go and we need an America First representative of liberty and freedom to be speaker.
