Congressional Thirst for Power, FISA Deception, Trump Derangement Syndrome Hypocrisy.
Congress lies again as they struggle to hold onto mass surveillance authority while continuing the demonization of President Trump.
Personally, I am sick of listening to politicians as they play the part of chicken little, with the “sky is falling” narrative regarding FISA (sec. 702) and the vote to extend it as is. Every right that we have lost since 9/11, was forfeited by American citizens in the face of a “crisis”. Rahm Emanuel once said, “never let a good crisis go to waste”. This has been a concept that Republicans and Democrats have embraced in the quest for more power and authority. “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. If we give the federal government a green light to assume authoritarian control every time the going gets tough, we don’t deserve the liberty and freedom that this country was founded on.
FISA is used to spy on American Citizens and any politician that tells you otherwise is lying to you. Why do they lie to? Terrorism is the pretext to gain public approval. Those that question this pretext are ostracized and run out of town. Because we live in an age of government manufactured crises, Ruby Ridge, the Bundy Ranch Standoff, Malheur National Wildlife Refuge Standoff, January 6, 2021, purge of patriots, and the like. These events were used to create a national political climate that attempts to legitimize the arrest and confinement of the left’s political opponents. Even mainstream media outlets have demonized conservatives and President Trump himself, by inciting violence through rhetoric and accusatory statements. One media outlet went so far as to suggest putting a bullet into President Trump. Where is the outrage from media colleagues? Where are the calls for fairness and compassion by the left as they claim to subscribe to these rather ambiguous “values”.
It seems like the temperature in the political space is increasing rapidly and I think we are leading up to a “Night of Long Knives” 2.0. The mass arrests of J6 patriots suggest that this process has already started as Biden’s political opposition is rounded up and incarcerated for years with no trial, while being tortured. For those that don’t know, the “Night of Long Knives” was an operation carried out by Adolf Hitler’s SS troops from June 30th-July 2, 1934, where perceived political threats were assassinated for the purpose of clearing the way for Hitler to assume authoritarian control over Germany, with no opposition. Before German Parliament voted on Hitler’s Enabling Act, Hitler pleaded with the elected officials to vote to give him the dictatorial powers that were being proposed in the act. He asserted that he would not use this authority for personal gain or for nefarious purposes and that he would then relinquish this power when the economic crisis was rectified. Germany’s economic turmoil was used as a pretext, to hand absolute authority to Hitler and as we say, the rest is history.
As much as I hate to bring Hitler into a contemporary politics, I think that it is imperative that I do so in this instance to shed some light on the hypocrisy of Democrats and Republicans when they compare Trump to Hitler. History was not kind to the name Adolf Hitler due to the many atrocities that were committed by his hand. Trump could’ve walked away from the presidency after 2020 and avoided being this perpetual target for the left. He’s still fighting and is genuinely pledging his life (assassination threats), his fortune, ($450 million bond at the hand of a crooked DA and Judge) and his sacred honor, (risking his reputation and his legacy by doing what he thinks is right for America). That is why I support President Trump and that is why we cannot continue to sit by and watch congress usurp power in the name of, “If we do nothing the world will end”, resulting in a knee jerk reaction that will take away more of our liberty. Trump is not perfect, and he has his flaws just as we all do. However, I tend to judge others based on their current actions, not their words, and not their past. As long as Trumps continues to do what is right for America, I will continue to support him.
Spot on Jason!
